Paired with its Mali-G310 V2 GPU, it guarantees fast, responsive, lag-free operation. Quick Media Switching (QMS) removes the black screens and visible interruptions that occur when the frame rate changes (for example when moving from 60 Hz content to a 24 Hz film): whether you switch between apps, between a menu and a video, or between different types of content, transitions become seamless and invisible.
Source-Based Tone Mapping (SBTM), for its part, automatically adjusts brightness and colours according to the capabilities of the connected television — particularly useful when watching content that mixes HDR and SDR, for accurate colours and greater image fidelity.
Three key features raise the bar for cloud gaming and Android games.
Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) dynamically synchronises the television's refresh rate with that of the source: no more tearing or stuttering.
Quick Frame Transport (QFT) sends frames to the television faster, without waiting for the full refresh cycle, considerably reducing latency.
Finally, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) automatically switches the television to its low-latency mode, with nothing to set up. Combined, these three technologies deliver a smooth, responsive gaming experience close to console standards.
