A solid red LED means the router cannot reach the Internet. Check in order:
- The Ethernet cable is properly seated in the WAN/2.5G (blue) port on the router and in a LAN port on your modem.
- Your modem/Internet box is powered on and working.
- Go to Network > WAN Configuration and verify the Connection Mode matches your ISP. DHCP is the most common mode. For PPPoE, enter the username and password provided by your ISP.
Tips: If you are unsure of your connection type, contact your Internet Service Provider. DHCP mode works in most cases.
