Should I use the same name as my router or a different one for the extended network?

That depends on your priority:

Same name (Copy Host SSID): your phones and laptops roam automatically between the router and the repeater without any manual action. Best for everyday use.
Different name (e.g. MyNetwork-EXT2G): you control exactly which device is connected to the repeater. Useful when testing placement or troubleshooting.

Tips: The extended network always uses the same password as your host network. You cannot set a different password in Wireless Extender mode.
