Can I use the receiver on a 12V power supply?
Yes. The SRT7408 is compatible with DC 12V - 1.5A - 18W power, making it ideal for caravans, campervans and boats. A 230V/12V adapter is included. The 12V cigarette lighter plug is not included and must be purchased separately.
How do I view my receiver's technical information?
Go to Menu > Smart Card (Carte à puce) > Consultation STB. Press EXIT three times to leave the menu. This shows the unique card address, Viaccess version, serial number, software version, bootloader version and hardware version.
I cannot record or play back recordings.
To avoid recording or playback issues, the USB device must be formatted in FAT32. We recommend using an externally powered hard drive. Most hard drives on the market are compatible, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every model available.
The receiver shows 'encrypted channels' or cannot read the card.
Verify the card orientation: the chip must face DOWN in the SRT7408. Remove and re-insert the card firmly. Wait 30 seconds. Go to Menu > Smart Card > Consultation to check the card status.
