How do I perform a factory reset?
Two methods are available:
- Via the Web UI: click Restore Factory (top-right of any page), confirm the pop-up. The device resets and restarts automatically (~166 seconds).
- Via the physical pinhole: with the device powered on, insert a pin into the Reset pinhole (see device label for location) and hold for 5–10 seconds until the screen blinks.
Warning: Factory reset permanently erases ALL settings: Web UI password, Wi-Fi name and password, firewall rules, parental controls, and scheduled tasks. The SIM card data is not affected.
