How does automatic firmware update work?

Every time the receiver starts, it checks for a software update via satellite (OTA). If a new version is found, you will be prompted to confirm. Accept the update when prompted.

Tips: You cannot refuse an OTA update more than twice. If rejected twice, the update will start automatically on the next power-on.

Warning: Never disconnect the power or the antenna cable during a firmware update.
