How does video recording work? What happens when the card is full?
Two exclusive recording modes are available in Settings (⚙) > Recording Management:
- Event Recording (default, recommended): records only when an event is detected. This mode saves storage space and battery.
- All Day Recording: continuous 24/7 recording. Requires a large card (128 GB or more) and the camera plugged in permanently.
When the card is full, loop recording automatically overwrites the oldest clips. Download important videos from the History tab: select a clip and tap the Download button to save it to your phone.
Tips: The free cloud plan stores 6-second clips per event for 30 days automatically — even without a microSD card, you always have short video evidence of recent events.
