How do I restore the factory settings?
- On the device: remove the back cover and press and hold the RESET pinhole, at the bottom right, for more than 5 seconds, for example with a straightened paper clip. The device restarts when the reset is completed.
- In the Web UI: go to Device Management, click Restore Factory Settings and confirm with Factory Reset. The device restarts in about 90 seconds.
Warning: A factory reset erases the Web UI password, the Wi-Fi names and passwords, the APN profiles and all filter rules. Save a backup first in System > Backup/Restore.
How do I restart the device?
In the Web UI, go to Device Management and click Reboot (about 60 seconds). On the device, press and hold Power for 3 seconds to switch off, then for 3 seconds to switch on.
Why should I update the firmware?
Firmware updates fix bugs, improve stability and bring the latest regulatory settings and features. If you encounter a problem, first check that the firmware is up to date.
Comment mettre à jour le micrologiciel ?
Go to System > FOTA and click Check for updates. If a new version is available, click Update. Set Auto Update to Enable to install updates automatically. To install a file supplied by STRONG support, use System > Local Upgrade.
Warning: Do not switch off the device or disconnect the power during an update.
