Check the coaxial cable between your cable wall outlet and the CABLE IN connector of the receiver.
Start a new channel search: Menu > Installation > Auto Search.
If you know the frequency used by your cable operator, use Menu > Installation > Manual Search and check the RF Level and C/N bars: they show the quality of the signal.

If the TV shows no picture at all, check the HDMI or SCART cable, select the correct input on your TV and check that the receiver is not in standby.
