The Wi-Fi LED is red. What should I do?

A red Wi-Fi LED means the signal the repeater receives from your router is too weak. Move the repeater closer to the router — one socket at a time — and wait about 30 seconds after each move. The LED turns blue when the placement is good. As a rule of thumb, the repeater should be roughly halfway between your router and the dead zone, with a clear line of sight to the router if possible.
