What can I use the Ethernet port for?

The single Gigabit Ethernet port on the side of the repeater serves two purposes depending on the operating mode:

  • In Wireless Extender mode: connect a wired device (TV, console, computer, NAS) to the extended network at up to 1,000 Mbps. The port acts as a LAN port.
  • In Wireless Access Point mode: connect the repeater to a LAN port of your modem or router using an Ethernet cable. The port acts as the WAN (uplink) input.

Tips: No Ethernet cable is included in the box. Any standard Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable of suitable length will work.
