How do I set up the router for the first time?
1Insert the SIM card
With the router switched off, insert a nano-SIM card (not included) into the slot under the cover marked 'SIM Card', on the bottom of the router.
2Connect the power
Connect the supplied 12 V / 2 A power adapter to the DC 12V port on the back of the router, and plug it into a mains socket. Press the POWER button if the router does not start.
3Check the LEDs
The router is ready when the Wi-Fi LED and the 5G or 4G LED are green, and the Power LED is blue in the WPS button.
4Connect your device
Connect to the Wi-Fi network with the name and password printed on the label under the router. You can also connect a computer to the LAN port with an Ethernet cable, or use the WPS button or NFC (Android).
5Create your login password
Open a web browser and enter http://setup.strong. Create your login password (8 to 32 characters, with uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and special characters), then click Create.
6Unlock the SIM card if necessary
If your SIM card is protected by a PIN code, enter it when requested and click Unlock.
Warning: If only the Wi-Fi LED is on and the 5G and 4G LEDs stay off, the router has no mobile connection. See the question 'The 5G and 4G LEDs stay off.'
